Winer was a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University in California while the research began.

Almost 26 million Americans suffer from diabetes, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The vast mass of cases are type 2 diabetes. With type 2 diabetes, the body either does not manufacture enough insulin, or the boy’s cells ignore the insulin. The body needs insulin in order to use glucose for energy. When food is consumed, sugars and starches are broken down into glucose to fuel the body’s cells, and insulin move it from the blood into the cells. The genes concerned vary in different ethnic groups and the incidence is increased in patients with chromosomal disorders, including Turner, Down's, and Klinefelter's syndromes usually linked with autoantibodies against thyroglobulin and thyroperoxidase. The underlying specifics of the immune system destruction of thyroid cells are not clearly understood. Various autoantibodies may be present against thyroid peroxidase, thyroglobulin and TSH receptors, although a small percentage of patients may have none of these antibodies present. A percentage of the inhabitants may also have these antibodies without developing Hashimoto's thyroiditis.

Since MS, is an autoimmune disease, the immune system is the main offender to severing the communication between the brain and the spinal cord. Since MS, affect the spinal cord and the brain, the entire nervous system becomes imbalanced. This imbalance produces a buildup of scar tissue, which destroy all of the myelin which covers the anxiety. Human beings depend on myelin to send communication back and forth to the spine and the brain.

Scientists and doctors have attempted to explore for a cause for MS, but unfortunately, all that remains is hypotheses. Either hereditary or an impure environment, links individuals to the MS disease. Individuals who have constricted MS, will experience; weakness, decreased coordination, blurred vision, and even eye pain. 1. Diabetes is metabolism confusion. During consumption, our body breaks mainly of our food down into glucose. It just so happens, that the main source of power and fuel is, glucose. When an individual has diabetes their body does not make enough insulin to be able to move their glucose throughout their body. 2. Type 1 Diabetes: This is an autoimmune disease which causes the immune system to fight adjacent to the body. When an individual has diabetes, their immune system attacks the insulin-make beta cells in the pancreas. Due to this, the glucose becomes inactive and cannot survive. In order to survive, an individual with diabetes must take an insulin shot daily.

3. Type 2 Diabetes: Insulin resistance or Type 2 Diabetes is the most common form of diabetes. In the case of Type 2 Diabetes, an individual is producing enough insulin, but for unknown reasons cannot effectively use it. Although, the origin is dissimilar from type 1 diabetes the result is the same; the glucose becomes sedentary, rendering it useless.

4. Gestational Diabetes: Gestational Diabetes can only happen during pregnancy. This disease is strictly based on plasma glucose values deliberate during the OGTT. A woman’s glucose levels must be closely monitored during pregnancy, because their levels usually drop. In the case, of gestational diabetes, but, they almost become nonexistent.

Once the symptoms decline, an individual becomes susceptible to more severe symptoms, such as organ problems. Since Lupus, produces a broad range of symptoms; there are some different remedies. If the individual experiences a skin rash, a doctor will set a corticosteroid cream; in the event of joint pain, and individual will be prescribed non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and if the person feels an irresistible sense of fatigue, a doctor will take antimalarial medicines.
